Job Description of Junior Officer – Hse

Key Responsibilities of Junior Officer – Hse
✅ Monitor and enforce compliance with workplace health, safety, and environmental policies, procedures, and regulations
✅ Conduct regular site inspections, safety walkthroughs, and audits, and report on findings
✅ Identify hazards, assess risks, and recommend corrective and preventive actions
✅ Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses, and help prepare reports and root cause analyses
✅ Deliver safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training sessions to employees
✅ Ensure correct use of PPE and safe work practices across production areas
✅ Maintain HSE documentation, permits, records, and statistical reports
✅ Support emergency preparedness, including fire drills and evacuation procedures
✅ Coordinate with production, maintenance, and management teams to resolve safety concerns promptly
✅ Support environmental compliance, including waste management and resource-use monitoring
Qualification Required for Junior Officer – Hse
✅ Bachelor’s degree
✅ Minimum 3 years of HSE experience in the manufacturing industry
✅ FMCG manufacturing experience preferred
✅ Strong knowledge of workplace health, safety, and environmental standards
✅ Good communication and reporting skills
✅ Ability to work on the shop floor and collaborate across teams
