Job Description of Senior Utilities Design Leader
Key Responsibilities of Senior Utilities Design Leader
✅ Lead the design and development of utility systems including water, wastewater, stormwater, electrical, and telecommunication networks.
✅ Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders including engineers, consultants, and regulatory authorities.
✅ Review technical designs and ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and client requirements.
✅ Oversee the preparation of detailed engineering drawings, reports, and design calculations.
✅ Provide technical leadership to junior engineers and support team development.
✅ Participate in project planning, scheduling, and budgeting activities.
✅ Monitor project progress, resolve design issues, and ensure timely delivery of milestones.
✅ Represent the company in client meetings and contribute to proposal development and business growth.
Qualification Required for Senior Utilities Design Leader
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering discipline.
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in utilities design, preferably within the GCC region.
✅ Strong understanding of UAE regulations and utility authority requirements.
✅ Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and relevant hydraulic/hydrology tools.
✅ Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
✅ Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary design teams and large-scale infrastructure projects.
