Job Description of QA/QC Officer
✅ We are urgently hiring a QA/QC Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will help safeguard the quality of civil engineering work by running laboratory testing and quality control processes and by supporting audits. Your work will directly affect the reliability of our results and the trust our clients place in us.
✅ If you have a civil engineering background, hands-on laboratory QA/QC experience and an eye for detail, this is an opportunity to take on a meaningful role with a growing team. Immediate joiners and candidates on short notice are preferred.
Key Responsibilities of QA/QC Officer
✅ Carry out and oversee laboratory quality assurance and quality control activities for civil engineering materials and works
✅ Perform, monitor and verify laboratory tests in line with applicable standards, specifications and procedures
✅ Review test results and reports for accuracy, consistency and compliance before release
✅ Take part in internal and external quality audits, and help prepare documentation and records
✅ Identify non-conformances, support corrective and preventive actions, and follow them through to closure
✅ Maintain accurate QA/QC documentation, records and calibration and quality logs
✅ Work with laboratory, site and project teams to uphold quality standards
✅ Contribute to continuous improvement of quality processes and procedures
Qualification Required for QA/QC Officer
✅ B.Tech (Bachelor’s degree) in Civil Engineering or a related civil background
✅ Minimum 2 years of experience in laboratory QA/QC
✅ Audit experience (only profiles with a civil background and audit experience will be considered)
✅ Ability to join immediately or at short notice
