Job Description of IT Security Operations Engineer
Key Responsibilities of IT Security Operations Engineer
✅ 3–5 years of experience in IT security operations or SOC.
✅ Hands-on experience with SIEM, IDS/IPS, EDR, firewalls, and network protocols.
✅ Familiarity with security standards and frameworks (MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, NIST).
✅ Experience in responding to incidents, threat hunting, and forensic investigation.
✅ Relevant certifications (e.g., Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.
✅ Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Qualification Required for IT Security Operations Engineer
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field
✅ Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Security or related operations
✅ Strong knowledge of security monitoring tools, SIEM, firewalls, and incident response
✅ Hands-on experience with vulnerability management and threat analysis
✅ Familiarity with industry standards (ISO 27001, NIST, etc.)
✅ Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
✅ Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are a plus
