Job Description of Senior Electrical Designer

✅ We are seeking a Senior Electrical Designer to join our dynamic engineering team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This role is vital in supporting the development of high-quality electrical design solutions across major energy and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will bring both creative and technical skill sets, ensuring the effective design and integration of electrical systems that meet international standards and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities of Senior Electrical Designer

✅ Lead the preparation and review of detailed electrical design drawings and documentation.
✅ Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project specifications.
✅ Collaborate with engineering teams and other disciplines to integrate design deliverables.
✅ Conduct design reviews and provide technical input during project execution phases.
✅ Assist in cost estimation and material selection for electrical systems.
✅ Support client meetings, site visits, and technical discussions as needed.
✅ Mentor and guide junior designers and contribute to quality control processes.

Qualification Required for Senior Electrical Designer

✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
✅ Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design within the engineering or energy sector.
✅ Proficiency in electrical design software such as AutoCAD, ETAP, and other industry tools.
✅ Strong knowledge of international codes (IEC, IEEE, NEC, etc.) and standards.
✅ Excellent communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
✅ Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
✅ Previous experience working on projects in the Middle East is an advantage.
