Job Description of Senior Planning Engineer
✅ We are looking for an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will own the planning and scheduling backbone of major building construction projects, keeping programmes realistic, progress transparent, and delays managed before they become claims.
✅ You will work closely with construction, engineering, and project management teams, turning site activity into clear programme insight that supports sound decisions. If you are a strong Primavera P6 planner who is comfortable with critical path and delay analysis, this is a chance to make a visible impact on high-value projects. Immediate joiners will be given priority.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Planning Engineer
✅ Develop, maintain, and update baseline programmes and detailed schedules in Primavera P6 for major building construction projects.
✅ Resource-load programmes and track planned versus actual progress.
✅ Monitor progress across RCC structures, foundations, substructure, and superstructure works.
✅ Prepare recovery schedules and propose mitigation measures when slippage occurs.
✅ Perform critical path analysis to identify risks and priorities.
✅ Carry out delay analysis and prepare supporting documentation for Extension of Time (EOT) claims.
✅ Produce regular progress reports and present them to project management and stakeholders.
✅ Coordinate with construction, engineering, and project management teams to keep programme data accurate and aligned with site conditions.
Qualification Required for Senior Planning Engineer
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering
✅ Minimum 8–10 years of planning experience on major building construction projects
✅ Strong experience in RCC structures, foundations, substructure, and superstructure works
✅ UAE airport construction experience is highly preferred
✅ Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6, including baseline programmes, resource loading, progress monitoring, and recovery schedules
✅ Expertise in critical path analysis, delay analysis, EOT claims, and progress reporting
✅ Proven ability to coordinate with construction, engineering, and project management teams
