Job Description of Estimation Engineer - MEP
Key Responsibilities of Estimation Engineer - MEP
✅ Review and analyze MEP project drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
✅ Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimations for MEP works including materials, labor, and equipment.
✅ Collaborate with the engineering and procurement teams to gather cost-related information.
✅ Obtain and analyze quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
✅ Conduct value engineering to optimize costs and enhance project profitability.
✅ Support the tendering process by preparing technical and commercial proposals.
✅ Ensure timely submission of bids and compliance with client requirements.
✅ Maintain cost databases and documentation for future reference and audits.
Qualification Required for Estimation Engineer - MEP
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience as an Estimation Engineer in the MEP field.
✅ Strong knowledge of MEP systems and construction methodologies.
✅ Proficient in estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
✅ Familiarity with local UAE market rates, vendors, and subcontractors.
✅ Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
✅ Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment.
