Job Description of Information Security Engineer
Key Responsibilities of Information Security Engineer
✅ Design, implement, and maintain security solutions aligned with enterprise security architecture principles.
✅ Manage and improve Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) controls.
✅ Secure network, cloud, and on-premises infrastructure through configuration, monitoring, and hardening.
✅ Monitor, analyze, and respond to security events using SIEM tools.
✅ Implement and manage Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies to protect sensitive information.
✅ Conduct security risk assessments and recommend practical remediation measures.
✅ Administer and optimize security within Microsoft 365 and Azure environments.
✅ Deploy and manage Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR/XDR) solutions.
✅ Support compliance with relevant security frameworks, standards, and audit requirements.
✅ Embed security into CI/CD pipelines and containerized environments.
Qualification Required for Information Security Engineer
✅ Education & Experience
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
✅ Minimum 1 year of experience in enterprise security architecture and security engineering.
✅ Technical Skills
✅ Strong knowledge of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
✅ Expertise in network, cloud, and on-premises security.
✅ Hands-on experience with SIEM, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), and security risk assessment.
✅ Experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure Security.
✅ Knowledge of Endpoint Protection (EDR/XDR) and security compliance frameworks.
✅ Experience securing CI/CD pipelines and containers.
