Job Description of Construction Manager
✅ Are you a vision-driven construction leader looking to build icon-level infrastructure projects in the UAE?
✅ Hills & Fort Construction is seeking an experienced, high-performing Construction Manager to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you will lead end-to-end site operations, manage multi-disciplinary engineering teams, and drive projects to successful execution within quality, safety and budget standards.
✅ This is a senior position with real influence over how landmark projects are delivered. You will work with a group that has grown from a single Dubai company into a regional infrastructure player.
Key Responsibilities of Construction Manager
✅ Lead and oversee all site operations from mobilisation through to handover
✅ Manage and coordinate multi-disciplinary engineering teams, subcontractors and suppliers
✅ Ensure projects are delivered on time and within approved budgets
✅ Maintain high standards of quality control and workmanship on site
✅ Enforce health, safety and environmental (HSE) policies and compliance
✅ Develop, monitor and update project schedules using Primavera P6 and MS Project
✅ Manage approvals and liaise with UAE local authorities, consultants and clients
✅ Administer contract conditions in line with FIDIC, including variations, claims and reporting
✅ Track progress, costs and risks, and report regularly to senior management
✅ Mentor and develop site teams to build a culture of accountability and excellence
Qualification Required for Construction Manager
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management from an accredited university
✅ Preferred: Master’s degree or PMP certification
✅ 10–15 years of proven experience in construction management
✅ At least 5 years managing major civil, infrastructure or building projects in the UAE / GCC region
✅ Expertise in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD and construction management software
✅ Strong knowledge of UAE local authority standards and approvals
✅ Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contract conditions
