Job Description of QA Automation Tester
Key Responsibilities of QA Automation Tester
✅ Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, mobile, and API applications
✅ Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on business requirements
✅ Develop and maintain automation frameworks using industry-standard tools
✅ Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
✅ Identify, log, track, and verify defects throughout the software development lifecycle
Qualification Required for QA Automation Tester
✅ Bachelor’s degree
✅ 4+ years of experience in QA and test automation
✅ Automation tools: Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Playwright, TestNG / JUnit
✅ API testing: Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI
✅ Programming knowledge in Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
✅ CI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps
✅ SQL and database testing
✅ Defect tracking with Jira
✅ Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies
✅ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
✅ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
✅ Ability to work independently and within a team
✅ Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality software
✅ Banking, Digital Banking, Cards, Payments, Core Banking, or FinTech
