Job Description of Project Manager – Oil & Gas Epc
✅ We are looking for an accomplished Project Manager to lead large-scale oil and gas FEED/EPC projects from Abu Dhabi. This is a senior leadership role with end-to-end accountability for safety, cost, schedule, quality and client satisfaction on projects valued at over USD 1 billion. You will direct multidisciplinary teams through engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning, with a particular focus on complex brownfield work. Key Responsibilities of Project Manager – Oil & Gas Epc
✅ Lead the full project lifecycle of FEED/EPC contracts, from award through commissioning and handover
✅ Manage brownfield scopes, including modifications, tie-ins, shutdowns, revamps and integration with existing facilities
✅ Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities
✅ Own project cost control, planning and scheduling, and ensure delivery within budget and timeline
✅ Identify, assess and mitigate project risks, and drive proactive resolution of issues
✅ Administer contracts, including variations, claims and subcontractor and vendor management
✅ Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and other stakeholders
✅ Champion a strong HSE culture and ensure compliance with company and client standards
✅ Provide leadership, direction and development to project teams
✅ Deliver regular progress reporting to senior management and clients
Qualification Required for Project Manager – Oil & Gas Epc
✅ Education
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (or equivalent) from an accredited university
✅ Experience
✅ Minimum 15 years of experience executing FEED/EPC contracts in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry
✅ Minimum 8 years as a Project Manager on mega Oil & Gas FEED/EPC projects valued at over USD 1 billion
✅ Minimum 5 years of GCC experience preferred
✅ Proven track record managing brownfield EPC projects
✅ Experience across engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning and commissioning
✅ Skills & Knowledge
✅ Strong command of project management, cost control, planning and scheduling, risk management, contract administration and stakeholder management
✅ Previous experience with major Oil & Gas clients, preferably ADNOC, is highly desirable
✅ Additional certifications in project controls, contract management or risk management are desirable
