Job Description of HSE Officer
✅ We are looking for an experienced HSE Officer to join a logistics and warehousing operation in Dubai. In this role, you will protect people, assets, and operations by making sure every site activity meets UAE health, safety, and environmental requirements. You will lead risk management, incident response, audits, and safety training, and help build a strong safety culture across the workforce.

Key Responsibilities of HSE Officer
✅ Implement and monitor HSE policies, procedures, and management systems in line with JAFZA, Trakhees-EHS, Dubai Civil Defense, and UAE regulations
✅ Conduct workplace risk assessments and ensure control measures are in place
✅ Investigate incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, and drive corrective and preventive actions
✅ Plan and oversee emergency response procedures, drills, and fire and life-safety readiness
✅ Carry out regular site inspections and internal HSE audits, and prepare for external audits and authority inspections
✅ Deliver HSE induction, toolbox talks, and training to employees and contractors
✅ Maintain HSE documentation, permits, records, and statutory reporting
✅ Advise management on compliance gaps, risks, and continuous improvement
Qualification Required for HSE Officer
✅ Education
✅ Bachelor’s degree
✅ Experience
✅ 8–10 years of HSE experience
✅ Mandatory experience in a JAFZA, logistics, warehousing, or distribution environment
✅ Proven experience in risk assessments, incident investigations, emergency response, audits, and HSE training
✅ Certifications and Knowledge
✅ NEBOSH IGC or International Diploma, plus other relevant safety certifications
✅ Strong knowledge of JAFZA, Trakhees-EHS, Dubai Civil Defense, and UAE HSE regulations
