Job Description of L1 NOC Network Security Engineer
Key Responsibilities of L1 NOC Network Security Engineer
✅ Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for network connectivity and security issues.
✅ Escalate unresolved incidents to L2/L3 teams with comprehensive documentation.
✅ Execute routine operational tasks such as system health checks and log reviews.
✅ Maintain accurate incident and change logs in the ticketing system.
✅ Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent and secure operations.
✅ Stay updated with the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices in network security.Qualification Required for L1 NOC Network Security Engineer
✅ Technical Skills: Experience in troubleshooting Network /Security devices Switches, routers, firewall, Load balancer, MPLS link, WAN links etc.
✅ Monitoring Tools: Experience with network and security monitoring tools (SolarWinds) and incident management systems (ServiceNow).
✅ Troubleshooting: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform basic troubleshooting on network and security issues.
✅ Communication: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to document and explain technical issues clearly.
✅ Certifications: CISCO CCNA /Security or equivalent, Solarwinds certifications are preferred.Company Bio
