Key Responsibilities of Vat Consultant & Senior Vat Consultant
✅ Provide VAT consultancy and advisory services to clients, ensuring compliance with UAE VAT laws and Federal Tax Authority (FTA) requirements
✅ Prepare, review, and file VAT returns accurately and within statutory deadlines
✅ Advise clients on VAT treatment of transactions, registration, deregistration, and day-to-day VAT queries
✅ Conduct VAT health checks and reviews to identify risks, errors, and opportunities for improvement
✅ Liaise with the FTA on client matters, including clarifications and compliance requests
✅ Maintain strong client relationships through clear communication and timely, reliable support
✅ Stay up to date with changes in UAE VAT legislation, FTA guidelines, E-Invoicing, and Excise Tax developments
✅ (Senior level) Review junior team members’ work, support their development, and take ownership of more complex client engagements
Qualification Required for Vat Consultant & Senior Vat Consultant
✅ Education & Certification
✅ Bachelor’s degree
✅ ACCA Affiliate or CA-qualified professional
✅ Experience
✅ 1–3 years of practical UAE VAT consultancy or advisory experience
✅ Hands-on experience in VAT return filing and VAT advisory
✅ Skills & Knowledge
✅ Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws, regulations, and FTA compliance
✅ Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
✅ Strong communication and client-handling abilities
✅ Knowledge of UAE E-Invoicing and Excise Tax is an advantage
