Key Responsibilities of Accountant – Freight Forwarding & Logistics Company

✅ Financial Mastery: Prepare P&L statements, balance sheets & cash flow reports
✅ Freight Expertise: Handle specialized ocean & air freight accounting
✅ Global Operations: Manage multi-currency transactions & FX accounting
✅ Compliance Champion: Ensure tax compliance across multiple jurisdictions
✅ Cost Analysis: Monitor vessel costs, handling charges & operational expenses
✅ Customer Relations: Manage accounts receivable & credit terms

Qualification Required for Accountant – Freight Forwarding & Logistics Company

✅ Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance
✅ Professional qualification (CPA, ACCA) preferred
✅ 3-5 years accounting experience in UAE
✅ Logistics/freight forwarding background is a PLUS!
✅ Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
✅ ERP systems experience (SAP, QuickBooks)
✅ IFRS & local GAAP knowledge
