Job Description of Site Engineer – UCC & Pro AV
✅ We’re looking for a hands-on Site Engineer – UCC & Pro AV to join our team in Dubai. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between design and delivery. You’ll make sure that meeting rooms, collaboration spaces, and audio-visual systems are installed, configured, and handed over to the required quality standards and on schedule.
✅ You’ll work on live project sites alongside technical teams, consultants, and main contractors. This is a great opportunity for an engineer who enjoys practical, on-site work and wants to grow in the fast-moving UCC and Pro AV space.
Key Responsibilities of Site Engineer – UCC & Pro AV
✅ Site Execution: Manage daily site activities and coordinate installation work to keep projects running smoothly.
✅ Technical Drawings: Read and interpret technical drawings, and make sure all installations follow approved drawings and project specifications.
✅ Site Coordination: Work closely with site teams, consultants, main contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve site issues and avoid delays.
✅ Quality Control: Carry out site inspections and quality checks to ensure installations meet project requirements and standards.
✅ Technical Coordination: Collaborate with design and technical teams on system design, configuration, programming, testing, and advanced commissioning.
✅ Problem Solving: Identify and resolve technical and installation issues together with the relevant teams.
✅ Project Documentation: Maintain site progress reports, installation records, inspection reports, and other required project documents.
✅ Testing & Handover: Support system testing, commissioning, snag clearance, and final project handover.
Qualification Required for Site Engineer – UCC & Pro AV
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electronics, Electrical, Telecommunications, IT, or a related field)
✅ Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in UCC, Pro AV, or a similar installation or site engineering role
✅ Ability to read and interpret technical and installation drawings
✅ Hands-on knowledge of AV and UCC systems, including installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning
✅ Strong communication and coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively with multiple teams and stakeholders
✅ Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail
✅ Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage site activities and meet deadlines
✅ Comfortable working on-site and maintaining accurate project documentation
✅ Ideal profile: A technically strong, hands-on professional who communicates clearly and keeps installations on time and to the required quality standards.
