Job Description of Country Manager
Key Responsibilities of Country Manager
✅ Develop and execute business strategies to achieve growth and profitability targets.
✅ Analyze market trends and prepare accurate sales forecasts.
✅ Take ownership of periodic forecast exercises; ensure targets are met or exceeded and provide actionable plans to address any gaps.
✅ Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, clients, suppliers, and industry partners. Represent the company with integrity and professionalism at industry events and business meetings.
✅ Oversee compliance with local laws, regulations, and company policies.
✅ Ensure effective team management, mentoring, and development of staff.
✅ Report regularly to senior management on performance, opportunities, risks, and strategic recommendations.Qualification Required for Country Manager
✅ Minimum 2 years’ work experience in the UAE market with in-depth knowledge of local business practices.
✅ Graduation with a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related fi eld is required.
✅ Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
✅ Strong network of connections within the pharmaceutical, healthcare, and medical sectors.
✅ Excellent forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning skills.
✅ Advanced computer literacy; proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is essential.
✅ Willingness and ability to travel as required within the UAE and internationally.
