Job Description of Project Manager – UCC & Pro AV
✅ We are looking for a Project Manager to own UCC and Pro AV projects in Abu Dhabi from planning through final handover. You will be the link between clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and our technical teams, keeping every project on schedule, on budget, and built to specification.
✅ The role matters because AV and collaboration systems are only successful when they work flawlessly for the people using them. Your coordination, site control, and attention to quality decide whether a client's boardroom, auditorium, or LED wall performs on day one. If you enjoy hands-on technical projects, multiple moving parts, and seeing a system go live, this role is for you.
Key Responsibilities of Project Manager – UCC & Pro AV
✅ Project delivery: Manage end-to-end UCC and Pro AV projects, from planning and execution through testing, commissioning, and handover.
✅ Planning and control: Prepare schedules and resource plans, control budgets, manage risks, and monitor progress against milestones.
✅ Stakeholder coordination: Coordinate with consultants, main contractors, system integrators, clients, vendors, and internal technical teams.
✅ Site management: Oversee installation schedules, site readiness, access approvals, technical dependencies, and coordination with other trades.
✅ Technical oversight: Apply a working knowledge of video conferencing, audio systems, displays, LED walls, AV control systems, and system integration.
✅ Documentation: Maintain project schedules, meeting minutes, progress reports, technical submittals, method statements, risk registers, and handover documents.
✅ Quality and compliance: Ensure work meets approved designs, technical specifications, quality standards, health and safety requirements, and contractual obligations.
✅ Customer and vendor management: Manage client expectations, resolve site issues, and secure timely vendor support and material deliveries.
✅ Testing and handover: Lead system testing, commissioning, snag resolution, user training, and final handover to the customer.
Qualification Required for Project Manager – UCC & Pro AV
✅ Education: Bachelor's degree.
✅ Experience: 1+ year managing UCC and/or Pro AV projects, including site activities and handover.
✅ Technical knowledge: Good understanding of UCC and Pro AV systems and their integration.
✅ Project skills: Planning, scheduling, budget control, risk management, and progress monitoring.
✅ Soft skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving; able to manage multiple projects and work across teams.
✅ Preferred profile: A well-organized professional who delivers projects on time and within budget.
