Job Description of Site Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)
✅ We are looking for an experienced Site Engineer – E&I to support our Oil & Gas project operations in Abu Dhabi. In this role, you will be the technical link between design, site execution, and client requirements. You will make sure electrical and instrumentation works are installed, tested, and commissioned safely and to specification. If you have a strong EPC site background and want to contribute to major energy projects in the UAE, this is a role where your experience will make a visible impact.
Key Responsibilities of Site Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)
✅ Supervise and coordinate electrical and instrumentation installation activities on site
✅ Carry out and oversee inspection, testing, and commissioning of E&I systems
✅ Make sure all work complies with project specifications, drawings, and client procedures
✅ Enforce HSE requirements and promote safe working practices on site
✅ Prepare, review, and maintain technical documentation, including inspection records, test reports, and as-built data
✅ Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and the client’s representatives to resolve site technical issues
✅ Monitor progress, report on work status, and help keep activities on schedule
✅ Support handover and close-out documentation for completed systems
Qualification Required for Site Engineer – Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I)
✅ Education
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, or a related engineering discipline
✅ Experience
✅ At least 10 years of relevant E&I site engineering experience in the Oil & Gas industry
✅ Proven experience on EPC projects, including installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning
✅ Previous ADNOC project experience is an advantage
✅ Skills & Knowledge
✅ Strong knowledge of electrical and instrumentation systems and site execution
✅ Sound ability to prepare and manage technical documentation
✅ Familiarity with project specifications, HSE requirements, and client procedures
