Key Responsibilities of Kong API Development
✅ Develop custom plugins for Kong using Lua or other supported languages.
✅ Integrate APIs with various backend services and ensure secure access control.
✅ Optimize performance and reliability of API gateways.
✅ Implement security protocols, throttling, rate-limiting, and authentication mechanisms.
✅ Collaborate with DevOps and backend teams to deploy and maintain microservices architecture.
✅ Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to API traffic, response times, and errors.
✅ Maintain technical documentation and follow industry best practices for API development.Qualification Required for Kong API Development
✅ Experience in financial services domain preferred (fintech or banking)
