Job Description of Senior Planning Engineer

✅ Dicetek LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Planning Engineer to join our dynamic team in the Engineering division. This role is critical in overseeing project planning, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure the successful execution of engineering projects. The ideal candidate will bring over five years of experience in project controls, scheduling tools, and risk management, contributing significantly to our project delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities of Senior Planning Engineer

✅ Build and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or MSProject
✅ Collaborate with Project Managers, engineers, and site teams to ensure realistic and up-to-date timelines
✅ Monitor progress vs. baseline; flag deviations and suggest corrective actions
✅ Generate clear and insightful Progress Reports and recovery plans
✅ Support Delay Analysis, EOT submissions, and forensic planning when required
✅ Align cost/resource loading with Cost Control and budget planning
✅ Maintain change logs and timeline impacts for contract integrity
✅ Ensure adherence to company-wide Planning Standards
✅ Facilitate interdepartmental and stakeholder schedule coordination

Qualification Required for Senior Planning Engineer

✅ 15+ years of experience in Planning and Scheduling (preferably in the GCC)
✅ Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering or related discipline
✅ Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 (Mandatory)
✅ Familiarity with FIDIC and international contract standards
✅ Experience in EOT, Claims Management, and EVM is a plus
✅ Strong problem-solving, reporting, and stakeholder coordination skills
