Job Description of Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer
Key Responsibilities of Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer
✅ Automate infrastructure provisioning and CI/CD pipelines.
✅ Monitor platform health and troubleshoot performance issues.
✅ Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure platform resilience and compliance.
✅ Manage Kubernetes clusters, networking, and storage integrations.
✅ Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and documentation to ensure platform best practices.
✅ Stay updated with industry trends, tools, and technologies to recommend platform improvements.Qualification Required for Senior OpenShift Platform Engineer
✅ Expertise in managing multi-tenant OpenShift and ROSA environments.
✅ Hands-on experience with Operators, workload segregation, and scaling strategies.
✅ Proficiency with automation tools (Ansible) and monitoring solutions (Grafana, Prometheus).
✅ In-depth knowledge of access and authorization management using LDAP and Role-based Access Control (RBAC).
✅ Experience with container registry management, including GitHub and Quay.
✅ Strong knowledge of performance monitoring, capacity management, and audit logging.
✅ Familiarity with IBM CloudPak for Integration/Application is a plus.
✅ Experience with CI/CD tools and best practices.
