Job Description of Material Coordinator
✅ ASRS is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Material Coordinator to join our team in Dubai, UAE. This role plays a vital part in ensuring that materials and supplies are effectively tracked, managed, and delivered to support engineering and construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in material logistics, procurement coordination, and inventory control, helping to drive operational efficiency across all stages of project execution.
Key Responsibilities of Material Coordinator
✅ Coordinate and oversee the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials across project sites.
✅ Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely material delivery to meet project deadlines.
✅ Liaise with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams to streamline the material handling process.
✅ Monitor stock levels and initiate requisitions when supplies are low.
✅ Prepare detailed reports on material status, usage, and inventory trends.
✅ Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards in material handling.
✅ Support project planning by forecasting material requirements and managing supply chain risks.
✅ Identify and resolve material discrepancies or shortages quickly and efficiently.
Qualification Required for Material Coordinator
✅ Minimum 3 years of experience in material handling, warehouse, or inventory management with oil and gas or marine industry background
✅ Serve as the focal point for all inbound and outbound material movements.
✅ Responsible for generating, picking, and packing orders for outbound movements.
✅ Coordinate with material handling and other relevant sections for CCU's and material movement.
