Job Description of Java Support Engineer

✅ We are seeking a skilled and experienced Java Support Engineer to join our dynamic IT team in Dubai. In this role, you will provide technical support for Java-based applications, troubleshoot complex issues, and work closely with development teams to maintain and enhance system performance. Key Responsibilities of Java Support Engineer

✅ Provide L2/L3 support for Java-based enterprise applications.
✅ Troubleshoot and resolve production issues efficiently.
✅ Collaborate with developers and QA teams to implement fixes and improvements.
✅ Monitor application performance and ensure high availability.
✅ Create and maintain technical documentation, incident reports, and support runbooks.
✅ Participate in release and deployment activities.
✅ Assist in root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.

Qualification Required for Java Support Engineer

✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
✅ Minimum 5 years of experience in Java application support.
✅ Strong knowledge of Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs.
✅ Experience with application servers (e.g., Tomcat, WebLogic).
✅ Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
✅ Hands-on experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and ticketing systems (e.g., Jira).
✅ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
✅ Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
✅ Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure) is a plus.
