Job Description of Electrical Engineer
✅ We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a fit-out team in Dubai. In this role, you will lead the electrical side of interior fit-out projects, from design and calculations through to site execution. You will make sure every installation is safe, compliant with DEWA requirements and delivered to a high standard. If you have solid UAE fit-out experience and enjoy working both on the drawing board and on site, this is a strong opportunity to take ownership of visible, high-quality projects.
Key Responsibilities of Electrical Engineer
✅ Prepare and review electrical designs for interior fit-out projects, including load calculations, single line diagrams (SLDs), and lighting and power layouts
✅ Ensure all electrical works comply with DEWA standards and regulations
✅ Plan, supervise and inspect LV system installations and electrical fit-out works on site
✅ Coordinate with project managers, contractors, MEP teams, consultants and other trades to keep work on schedule
✅ Handle DEWA approvals, inspections and documentation as required
✅ Monitor quality, safety and progress on site, and resolve technical issues promptly
✅ Review drawings, material submittals and site records to confirm work matches the approved design
Qualification Required for Electrical Engineer
✅ Education
✅ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
✅ Experience
✅ 4+ years of UAE experience in the interior fit-out segment (non-negotiable)
✅ Skills and Knowledge
✅ Strong knowledge of DEWA standards, LV systems and electrical fit-out works
✅ Hands-on experience with load calculations, SLDs, and lighting and power layouts
✅ Strong site supervision and coordination skills
