Job Description of Senior Accountant
Key Responsibilities of Senior Accountant
✅ Prepare and analyze financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
✅ Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.
✅ Oversee accounts payable and receivable, reconciliations, and general ledger functions.
✅ Ensure compliance with VAT, tax laws, and internal accounting policies.
✅ Develop budgets and forecasts in collaboration with senior management.
✅ Coordinate with external auditors and provide necessary documentation.
✅ Monitor financial transactions and reporting for accuracy and completeness.
✅ Identify areas for process improvement and cost optimization.
Qualification Required for Senior Accountant
✅ Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
✅ Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in accounting, preferably within the UAE.
✅ Strong knowledge of accounting standards and tax regulations.
✅ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or equivalent).
✅ Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
✅ Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
