Job Description of Purchase Supervisor (Mep)
✅ We are looking for an experienced Purchase Supervisor to lead procurement for MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) and project requirements in Ras Al Khaimah. You will be the link between project teams, suppliers, and finance, making sure the right materials arrive on site on time, at the right price, and to the right standard.
✅ This is a hands-on supervisory role. You will lead a small purchasing team, manage supplier relationships, and keep procurement running smoothly across several projects. If you combine strong technical knowledge of MEP materials with sharp negotiation skills, this role offers real ownership and visibility.
Key Responsibilities of Purchase Supervisor (Mep)
✅ Supervise daily purchasing activities for MEP and project requirements.
✅ Source suppliers for electrical, mechanical, plumbing, HVAC, and firefighting materials.
✅ Obtain and evaluate quotations, negotiate prices, and ensure competitive procurement.
✅ Prepare purchase orders, compare quotations, and maintain procurement documentation.
✅ Coordinate with project managers, engineers, site teams, stores, and the accounts department.
✅ Ensure timely delivery of materials to project sites.
✅ Monitor procurement schedules, inventory levels, supplier performance, and project requirements.
✅ Identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality standards.
✅ Supervise purchase assistants and prepare regular procurement reports.
Qualification Required for Purchase Supervisor (Mep)
✅ Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
✅ 4–6 years of purchasing experience in MEP, construction, or project-based industries.
✅ Good knowledge of MEP materials, BOQs, material submittals, and technical specifications.
✅ Experience in supplier negotiation, cost control, and procurement documentation.
✅ Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP/SAP procurement systems.
✅ UAE experience is mandatory; experience in the UAE construction market is preferred.
